Dipendra Singh airee has registered his name in the record books while becoming only the third players in Men’s T20 cricket history to smash six sixes in an over. While playing in a Nepal vs Qatar ACC Men’s Premier Cup match here on Saturday at Al Amerat ground, Airee took on opposition bowler Kamran Khan while hitting him all over the park.
Nepal scored 210 runs for the loss of 7 wickets and eventually got to win the match by 32 runs. Dipendra Singh Airee also took 2 wickets in the match. Well we do remember his six sixes in an over against Mongolia during the Asian games at Hangzhou in 2023.
Even then, he scored six sixes in an over during his breathtaking knock of 52 runs in 10 balls. We must mention that he added his name in the same list that also features names like Yuvraj Singh( 6 sixes against Stuard broad in T20WC 2007) and Kieron Pollard( 6 sixes against Akila Dhananjaya in Coolidge in 2021).
With this knock, Dipendr Singh airee certainly seems to be knocking the door for a Tata IPL2024 contract under his name. Well, it’s yet to be seen how things are going to turn out for this famous Nepalese allrounder.
