Will Jacks whose real name is William George Jacks was born on 21 November 1998 in Chertsey, Surrey. As of now, Will jacks age is 25 years. The English cricketer has established himself as right-handed batter and off spin bowler.

Will Jacks made his List A debut on 18 May 2018 in  Royal London One-Day Cup for Surrey against Somerset. Although he couldn’t do much in the first two games, the next few games came as a proper reflection of his impeccable talent. In the third game, Will Jacks scored a match-winning 121 against Gloucestershire and gained all the limelight. Before marking his List A debut, Will Jacks played a part in the England squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, where he played all six games. Will Jacks made his first-class debut on 20 June 2018 for Surrey in the 2018 County Championship.

A pre-season T10 match against Lancashire marked his debu in the shorter format and Jacks scored a century in 25 balls. That’s not it and Will Jacks’ century also included six sixes in one over.

Will Jacks marked impressive performances on several occasions. One of the most prominent ones is that in June 2021, where he scored English cricket’s third-fastest Twenty20 fifty off 15 balls.

In April 2022, the Oval Invincibles bought Will Jacks for the 2022 season of The Hundred.  In August 2022, Will Jacks scored the highest score in the history of The Hundred by scoring 108 runs in 48 balls. Jacks had also shown incredible performance as a part of the Surrey team that won the 2022 County Championship.

Royal Challengers Bangalore bought Will Jacks In December 2022, for ₹3.2 crore in IPL auction. An injury he sustained while playing for England didn’t allow him to play in 2023 IPL. However Will Jacks marked his debut in the following season, on 11 April, against Mumbai Indians.

League stage match against Gujarat Titans on 28 April marked Will Jacks maiden century in IPL 2024. He scored an unbeaten century in 41 balls which also included 25 runs in one over of Rashid khan. The innings included five fours and ten sixes. Also it proved to be the fifth-fastest century in the history of the IPL.

In July 2021, Jacks earned his callup in England’s ODI squad for a series against Pakistan. The original squad for the tour had to face withdrawal following positive tests for COVID-19.

In September 2022, Will Jacks got his name listed in England’s Test and T20I squad for the away series against Pakistan. The cricketer made his T20I debut on 23 September against Pakistan.

In February 2023, Jack’s name was enlisted in both England’s ODI and T20I squad. He played the role of an injury replacement for Tom Abell. Will Jacks made his ODI debut against Bangladesh on 1 March. In the same year, Will Jacks was included in the squads for the home series against England and Ireland.

Will Jacks marked their first standout performance as an England player with the six-wicket haul in a Test match rather than a dominant white-ball innings. Jacks earned a reputation as the first England debutant spinner since 1993 to claim a five-for on Test debut in 2022. This record was beyond being a maiden first-class five-for.

Will Jacks’s off-spin is more than serviceable, but he performs mainly as a powerful top-order batter tipped for a blistering start to the innings. The cricketer grabbed all the attention on Surrey’s 2019 pre-season tour when he hit a 25-ball hundred in a T10 friendly against Lancashire, Dubai. Will Jacks had graduated from a spell with England’s Under-19s. It included a century against India in a Youth Test in addition to his vice-captaincy at the 2018 World Cup.

Will Jacks played for Surrey in three formats in the Championship-winning season of 2018, at 19. By his early 20s Will Jacks became a first-team regular.

Right from the time of participation in the T20 franchise circuit and in early 2024, Will Jacks hit centuries in the SA20, BPL and IPL in the space of three months.
